Can we convert Lightning into Electricity ?

One lightning strike will produce around $100 worth of electricity, whereas it will cost millions of dollars to build such towers which can regulate such high voltage.

If we see the data, there are about 7 lightning strikes per year per square mile. To capture the strikes in one square mile you would need dozens of 250-1000 foot high towers, & all of them having very costly capacitors at their base.

So, I think its not a good idea.
