Machenism of Earth's Magnetic Field

Fusion occurs at the center of our Sun, as a result of which it blasts the energetic particles (Solar Winds) like protons & electrons, all the time.


Earth's Magnetic field prevents those energetic particles from reaching us. Just like that, without magnetic field Oceans will evaporate, life will die because of radiation, greenery will vanish & finally, Earth will turn into Mars within a million years.

We are used to anticipating danger from outer space . A huge almost unknown space hostile to humans and no wonder colossal explosions take place asteroids and comets travel at tremendous speed . How do Ships float in water ?

According to the  Archimedes principle , " an object in a fluid experiences an upward force equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by it. " The same principle goes for the floating ships. The reason ships float is that they displace a lot of water, if a ship could not push enough water out of the way, it would probably sink. The displaced water wants to return in its original form, where the ship is now, & keeps pushing it upwards. As a result, we get a smoothly floating ship. What would happen if Apophis Astriod hits Earth's surface ?
