Is it really possible to keep our eyes open during a sneeze ?


The nose and eyes are linked by cranial nerves, as a result the stimulation from the sneeze travels up one nerve to the brain, then down another nerve to the eyelids, triggering a blink for most people.

It's impossible to keep our eyes open during a sneeze. It's a built-in reflex.
